The Arnett & Cullars Family Tree
Researching Your Own Family History
Researching family history has helped me to know about the people, and my background.
Here is a look at how I went about researching my family tree. I hope that it will inspire others. I had the fortune of beginning with some of the work published on the Arnett family in 1991.

However, I have gone to the Archive to try to certify what was written and added what I came across in the course of doing my own research.

Here are some tips about researching a family tree;

Be sure to evaluate the source of your information. Remember, do not believe everything you read!

Remember, most everyone has two family names: your father's, and your mother's maiden name. Don't feel you must restrict your research to just your paternal family tree.
